Pearl CLO Jonathan E. Goldin Recognized as Notable General Counsel by Crain’s New York Business

NEW YORK (February 15, 2024) — Jonathan E. Goldin, Chief Legal Officer at Pearl Health, was one of 35 honorees named to Crain’s New York Business 2024 Notable General Counsel list. The list recognizes exceptional in-house lawyers across a variety of industries and includes individuals guiding health care innovators, steering organizations through regulatory landscapes, and supporting marginalized groups, such as defrauded immigrants.

Pearl Health, a leading technology company focused on physician enablement and risk bearing in value-based care, helps primary care organizations and clinical teams provide more holistic, value-based care for their patients. In Jonathan’s role as Chief Legal Officer, he oversees the company’s legal operations, manages personnel in both the legal and compliance functions, and provides legal guidance for the company across various domains.

In addition to his role at Pearl, Jonathan is a member of the New York City Water Board, the New York Commercial Division Advisory Council, and the City Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association. He has also been a champion of the Burford Capital Equity Project and a member of the UJA Next Generation Bankruptcy and Reorganization Group.

Jonathan came to Pearl from a global consulting firm, where he was the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of its financial advisory business. Before working in-house, Jonathan practiced law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He focused on representing corporations, directors and officers in litigation relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities law issues, regulatory inquiries and other complex civil matters. Jonathan began his legal career as a law clerk, first in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and then in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He holds an A.B., cum laude from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

Jon played an instrumental role in creating the legal infrastructure needed to enable Pearl’s 20x network growth over the past two years, and he continues to provide expert leadership as we expand into new markets and lines of business.
