Pearl Health, a leading value-based care technology company, today announced a strategic addition to its leadership team. April joins Pearl with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, offering expertise across network and clinical operations, value-based care, and population health.
“Value-based care programs, paired with a focus on maintaining quality and reducing total-cost-of-care, can incentivize primary care doctors to practice the sort of holistic medicine that has historically made them so essential in the delivery of optimal patient care,” said April Greene, Senior Vice President of Medicare Advantage at Pearl Health. “I am thrilled to join Pearl’s industry-leading team that affords providers the resources to realize the benefits of these programs, both for their patients and for themselves and to extend Pearl Health’s capabilities to the Medicare Advantage population.”
“April’s expertise with some of our nation’s largest payors — both in contracting and in value-based care more broadly — will be an invaluable asset to Pearl as we continue on our mission to help primary care providers manage their patients’ health effectively, and be rewarded for it, regardless of what health insurance coverage they have,” said Gabriel Drapos, Chief Operating Officer at Pearl Health. “We’re elated to have her join our team and are excited to work together to expand Pearl’s offerings and accelerate healthcare’s transition to rewarding actual patient outcomes.”
